Five Americans freed in prisoner swap with Iran.
Five US citizens have been flown out of Iran as part of a widely anticipated prisoner swap deal between Washington and Tehran, a United States official confirmed.
1. TURKEY PROPOSES ALTERNATIVE TO INDIA-MIDDLE EAST TRADE CORRIDOR: Turkey has been engaged in “intensive negotiations” to find a substitute for the India-Middle East trade corridor proposal, which was adopted at the G20 meeting this month.
2. The 10th meeting of the India-Malaysia Joint Sub-Committee on Defence Science, Technology and Industry Cooperation was held in New Delhi yesterday.

7. Canadian🇨🇦 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday said ‘foreign powers’ were behind the killing of pro-Khalistan leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the chief of the Khalistan Tiger Force terrorist group. He claimed the Indian government played a role in his fatal shooting, news agencies.

1. The UKRAINIAN 🇺🇦 government dismissed six deputy Defence Ministers following the appointment of a new Defence Minister earlier this month. The government gave no reason for the dismissals. The new defence minister Rustem Umerov held the post less than two weeks ago, replacing Oleksii Reznikov.

8. Recently the British government announced an increase in visa fees, effective from the 4th of October. The cost of a visit visa for under six months will rise by GBP 15, and student visas will be GBP 127 more expensive for travelers from around the world including those from India.
