1. Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has organized an eight-day long mango festival in Bahrain to boost the export of Mangoes.

2. Union Cabinet has approved the proposal for the signing of an agreement between India and the United Nations on a ‘Way Finding Application’ to be used in the Palais des Nations, United Nations Office at Geneva.

3. Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares Bueno will reach New Delhi today. During his stay, Mr. Albares will hold talks with External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar on bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest.

1. US President Joe Biden will make his first trip to West Asia region next month, visiting Israel, West Bank and Saudi Arabia from 13th to 16th July, the White House confirmed in a statement.

2. United Kingdom Government has published its plans to get rid of parts of the post-Brexit deal it agreed with the European Union in 2019. It wants to change the Northern Ireland Protocol to make it easier for some goods to flow from Great Britain to Northern Ireland. But, the EU opposes the move, saying that going back on the deal breaches international law.

3. WHO said it would hold an emergency meeting on June 23 to determine whether to classify the global monkeypox outbreak as a public health emergency of international concern.

4. Canada and Denmark have decided to divide a small, uninhabited island in the Arctic called the ‘Hans Island’, ending a 50-year-long ownership dispute between the countries. The island, with an area of 1.2 square kilometres, is equidistant from both Canada’s Ellesmere Island and Denmark’s Greenland. Both countries had laid claim to the island since 1971.
