1. India will get this month the third set of Swiss bank account details of its nationals under an automatic exchange of information pact with Switzerland and this will include for the first time the data about real estate properties owned by Indians there.
2. Indian security forces to train in Taliban module : Border forces and armed police units deployed in the counter-terrorism grid have been directed by the central security establishment to prepare and administer a new training module on the Taliban and its modus operandi to the troops in view of the “emerging” scenario following the Islamic militia taking over Afghanistan.
3. PM Modi described first 2+2 talks between India and Australia as very productive, and said this was a sign of growing strategic convergence between both countries. He also thanked his counterpart Scott Morrison for his focus on the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two counties.

1. Taliban’s economy Minister meets Turkish envoy: Taliban’s Acting Minister of Economy, Qari Din Mohammad Hanif, met with the Turkish Ambassador in Kabul. Both sides emphasized strengthening joint cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, culture, education, and training.
2. The higher education minister in the new Taliban government says women can study in universities, including at post-graduate levels, but that classrooms will be gender-segregated with no-men classrooms and that Islamic dress is compulsory (to wear a hijab).
