1. Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra to be on a two-day visit to Nepal to advance overall cooperation between two countries.

2. The first meeting of the G20 Agriculture Working group, will be held at Indore, in Madhya Pradesh from 13th to 15 February 2023.

3. Recently, the 3rd ASEAN Digital Ministers (ADGMIN) meeting was held on a virtual platform. It is an annual meeting of telecom ministers of 10 ASEAN (Association of South-East Asian Nations) countries and dialogue partner countries.

4. The Bhutanese government sent five civil servants to receive their induction training in Bangalore. As per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between India and Bhutan, the officers were selected while they are with the Bhutan government and would receive training as Indian Revenue Officers.

1. Death toll crosses 33,000 across Turkey and Syria following past week’s earthquake.

NASA is working to share aerial views and data from space to aid relief and recovery workers in earthquake-hit Turkey and Syria. Scenes collected before and after the earthquake were used by a team of scientists from the Earth Observatory of Singapore and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California to create something called a damage proxy map for Turkey.

2. In Northland, a subtropical region on New Zealand’s North Island, a state of emergency has been declared on Sunday for an initial period of seven days as part of the regional response to Gabrielle, a tropical storm.

3. Wikipedia ban in Pakistan shows the “inconsistent and recurring attempts by Pakistani authorities to restrict internet access, a concerning pattern that “undermines the country’s nascent knowledge economy,” Al Arabiya Post reported.

4. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will arrive in China on Tuesday for a three-day visit during which he will meet with his counterpart Xi Jinping.
