1. The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has adopted an India-sponsored resolution on multilingualism that mentions the Hindi language for the first time.

3. 4 Holy Relics of Lord Buddha from India to be taken to Mongolia for 11-day exposition as part of celebrations of Mongolian Buddh Purnima.
The Holy Relics will be displayed at the Batsagaan Temple within the premises of Gandan Monastery. The Holy Buddha relics, currently housed in the National Museum, are known as the ‘Kapilvastu Relics’ since they are from a site in Bihar first discovered in 1898 which is believed to be the ancient city of Kapilvastu.
4. The High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Vikram Doraiswami inaugurated a five storied women’s hostel at Sylhet on Saturday. Umesh Chandra-Nirmalabala Chhatrabas at Chalibandar in Sylhet has been constructed with a financial assistance of Bangladeshi Taka 4.35 crore from the government of India.
5. Under the grant assistance from India, a new school building, Shree Faud Singh Janta Secondary School in Sarlahi District, Nepal, was inaugurated.
