1. Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan sent to custody of anti-graft body till May 17. His arrest has triggered widespread violent protests across the country.
A Pakistani court on Wednesday indicted former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana corruption case, who was arrested by paramilitary Rangers a day earlier from the Islamabad high court premises.
Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has been arrested in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust Case from the premises of the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday. Khan was taken into custody by the Pakistani Rangers.
2. Police arrested former home minister of Nepal and Nepali Congress leader Bal Krishna Khand in connection with the fake Bhutanese refugee scam.
3. An International Monetary Fund team to arrive in Sri Lanka for consultations on economic growth & to hold regular consultations ahead of the first review mission later this year.
