Israel has agreed to four-hour daily humanitarian pauses in its assault on Hamas in northern Gaza. The White House said that Israel has agreed to implement daily four-hour pauses in fighting. Israel says it is not a ceasefire.
1. Tesla CEO Elon Musk is set to meet the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal. Meeting is expected to take place in the US next week.
2. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will arrive in New Delhi on 10 Nov to participate in the 5th India-US 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue.
3. Dubai welcomes India’s bounty of agro products at Gulfood Manufacturing Expo. The three-day event, which started on November 7, is hosting 157 Indian exhibitors who are showcasing India’s prowess in the food and beverage industry.
4. External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar emphasised that the multipolar world will be multipolar for India, only when Africa is also one of the poles. Hosting the Ambassadors of Africa in Yashobhoomi in Delhi, Dr Jaishankar said the gathering marks the significance of the African Union’s Membership of the G20.
5. The fifth India-US 2 plus 2 Ministerial Dialogue will be held in New Delhi today. Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will welcome US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin III for the Dialogue.
6. Border forces of India and Nepal have expressed their commitment to strengthen bilateral security efforts by focussing on curbing trans-border crimes, smuggling of arms and ammunition, and combating human trafficking.
7. Supply of Earthquake Relief Materials to the Government of Nepal Acting on the commitment of PM Modi, the third tranche of over 12 tonnes of earthquake relief support comprising of blankets, sleeping bags, tents and essential medical supplies, etc. reached Nepal via a special Indian Air Force (IAF) C-130 flight.
8. External Affairs Ministry said the judgement by a Qatar court awarding death penalty to eight Indians is confidential and has only been shared with the legal team.
Briefing media in New Delhi, the Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said further legal steps are being pursued in the matter and an appeal has been filed. He urged everyone to not engage in speculation, considering the sensitive nature of the case.

1. Israeli forces fought Hamas militants through shell-blasted buildings in the north of the Gaza Strip on Thursday and both sides claimed to have inflicted heavy losses on their foes as the battle over the Palestinian territory intensified.
2. The Israeli military said that a top Hamas weapons maker, Mahsein Abu Zina, killed in airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
3. Foreign Ministers from the G7 countries–Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the European Union, and the United States–have pledged to continue their endeavours towards a free and open Indo-Pacific that is inclusive, prosperous, secure, based on the rule of law, and that protects shared principles.
4. Pakistan Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar said that there has been an increase in terror incidents in Pakistan since the Taliban came to power in 2021.
