1. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that India and Russia have strong and continuing contacts at various levels. Jaishankar and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday held talks in Moscow.

2. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday raised concern about the consequences emanating from the Ukraine conflict that has affected energy and food security around the world.

3. PM Modi on 08 Nov Tuesday unveiled the logo, theme and website of India’s G20 Presidency through video conferencing. India will assume G20 Presidency from the 1st of December.

It offers a unique opportunity for India to contribute to the global agenda on pressing issues of international importance.

4. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will attend the ASEAN – India commemorative summit and the 17th East Asia Summit (EAS). The ASEAN – India commemorative summit is being held in Cambodia from 11th November to 13th November 2022.

5. Two books on the achievements and legacy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi were released by Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Chandrashekhar in Dubai. These “Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery” and “Heartfelt: The Legacy of Faith”.

6. Surpassing traditional suppliers Saudi Arabia and Iraq, Russia has emerged as the top oil supplier to India in October. This comes amid an ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine that has also seen many Western nations issue sanctions against Russian Federation.
