1. PM Modi to visit France on 14th of July to attend this year’s Bastille Day Parade as Guest of Honour in Paris.
2. The National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) completed its flagship capacity building programme for 58th batch of civil servants of Bangladesh, which was attended by 45 officers.
3. The Thiruvappana Vellatom Festival was celebrated with much fanfare in Ajman, United Arab Emirates (UAE). 7. Russia Attacks Ukrainian Capital With Waves of Drones. Russia fired 60 Iranian-made kamikaze drones at Ukrainian targets on May 9, destroying several buildings and injuring at least five people. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged allies to provide Ukraine with air defense weapons after a wave of explosives-laden Russian drones hit Kyiv on Monday, killing four people.
