2. The AIRS Fellowship Program is a bilateral program between India and Australia. It is led by Australia India Institute. The funding for this program is provided by the Australian Government Department of Education. It promotes research collaborations and student mobility between India and Australia.

5. India gets NISAR:
A transport aircraft from US carrying a NASA-ISRO satellite landed in Bengaluru on Wednesday. The C-17 plane airlifted off California with the NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture (NISAR) satellite for a joint mission to measure changes in Earth’s crust and land ice surfaces. The 2,800 kg satellite can penetrate through clouds and can produce high-resolution images regardless of weather conditions.

1. Nepal set to hold Presidential elections today, result expected by evening. The fourth presidential election of Nepal, to elect the country’s third president since the abolition of the monarchy, will be held on 9 March 2023.
The term of the incumbent president, Bidya Devi Bhandari, first elected in 2015, is set to expire on 13 March 2023. She is term-limited and cannot seek re-election as the Constitution of Nepal bars her from doing so.
2. Two Italian Air Force aircrafts got into a mid-air collision, both pilots of the aircraft were reported to be dead in the incident in Italy.
3. The White House welcomed a bill that would allow the United States to ban Chinese-owned video-sharing app TikTok.
