1. G20: Preparation is in full swing in national capital to host G-20 Summit on 9th-10th September. Numerous security provisions have been made for the safety of the delegates. More than 30 prominent hotels have been booked and around 10,000 staff from the hospitality industry will be involved in the operations.

2. The Digital India Experience Zone is being set up as a key attraction at the 18th G20 Summit in New Delhi. The Summit will be held on the 9th and the 10th of September at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

3. The CEO of Nvidia, Jensen Huang, met PM Modi in New Delhi.

4. External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar spoke to UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly over the phone.

5. The 43rd Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit in Jakarta will be held from 5th to 7th of this month.

6. Chinese President Xi Jinping has officially declined to attend the G20 Summit scheduled to take place in New Delhi on September 9-10, as confirmed by Beijing on Monday. The Chinese delegation will instead be led by Premier Li Qiang, as announced by the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
