1. India has surpassed the United Kingdom to become the world’s 5th biggest economy. In a tweet, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, the International Monetary Fund’s own forecasts show India overtaking the UK in terms on an annual basis this year.
India is now behind the US, China, Japan and Germany in terms of economy. A decade ago, India was ranked 11th among the world’s largest economies, while the UK was firmly at number 5.
2. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has called for strengthening cooperation in education and skilling with Indonesia and Australia. Mr. Pradhan held a bilateral meeting with his Indonesian counterpart Nadiem Anwar Makarim in Bali on 02 Sep.

2. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has come forward to help Sri Lanka, which is facing a historic economic crisis. The IMF has announced a loan of $ 2.9 billion to Sri Lanka.
3. NASA once again postponed Artemis I moon rocket mission on Saturday after an issue was found related to a leak in the hardware transferring fuel into the rocket.
The Artemis I flight test is an uncrewed mission around the Moon that will pave the way for a crewed flight test and future human lunar exploration as part of Artemis.
