1. Israeli Deputy PM Benjamin Gantz, PM Modi review defence cooperation between India and Israel. India and Israel mark 30 years of excellent ties

2. The leaders reviewed the rapid growth in defence cooperation between India and Israel over the past few years. PM Modi encouraged Israeli defence companies to benefit from opportunities of co-development and co-production in India.

3. An IIT Delhi student has won the global coding contest, TCS CodeVita season 10, which saw the participation of 1,00,000 contestants from 87 countries. Computer Science Engineering student Kalash Gupta took home the top reward of $10,000 (around ₹7.76 lakh)

2. Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Chairman of the African Union, Macky Sall, on Friday held talks on grain exports from Russia and Ukraine in an effort to ease a global food crisis. Russia has blockaded Ukrainian ports, disrupting the export of grains from Ukraine. Africa is heavily dependent on grain supplies from Russia and Ukraine.
