PM Modi and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz

INTERNATIONAL NEWS

1. PM Modi and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz are co-chairing the sixth edition of the India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations-IGC in Berlin.

The biennial IGC is a unique dialogue format that also sees the participation of several Ministers from both sides. This is the Prime Minister’s first IGC with Chancellor Scholz and also the first such Government-to-Government consultations of the new German Government, which assumed office in December last year.

2. External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar held a meeting with German Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Svenja Schulze in Berlin.

3. PM Modi and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz interacted with top executives from German and Indian companies to strengthen the economic and commercial partnership between the two countries.

4. India, Germany sign agreements on Triangular Development Cooperation and Renewable Energy Partnership.

5. The Embassy of Israel in India collaborated with IIT Delhi and WEE Foundation to develop a six-week mentorship program for women entrepreneurs to mark 30 years of diplomatic relations between Israel and India
