1. Russia became one among India’s top three crude oil suppliers, other two are Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Russia became India’s largest oil supplier in October, surpassing traditional top sellers Saudi Arabia and Iraq by supplying an average of 9.35 lakh barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil last month
2. India’s agenda for the Group of Twenty (G20) will be inclusive, ambitious, and action-oriented, said PM Modi.
3. India assumed the Presidency of the UN Security Council for the month of December. It is the second time in its two-year tenure as an elected member of the UN Security Council that India has assumed the Presidency of the Council.
