1. India, Pak exchange lists of civilian prisoners, fishermen in their custody : The External Affairs Ministry said India handed over lists of 271 Pakistani civilian prisoners & 74 fishermen in India’s custody to Pakistan. Pak has shared lists of 51 civilian prisoners and 558 fishermen in its custody, who are Indians or are believed-to-be Indians.
2. Nine European nations are accepting Covishield vaccines for travel to their countries, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Greece, Iceland, Ireland and Spain are among the countries allowing travel by people who have taken Covishield vaccines.

1. World UFO Day is observed on 2nd July . It was founded by the UFO hunter Haktan Akdogan. The first World UFO Day was celebrated in 2001 and spread awareness among people to gaze at the heavens scanning for unidentified flying objects.
2. 17 injured in blast after Los Angeles police seized fireworks. The blast blew the top off a bomb disposal truck .
3. Chinese President Xi Jinping on 01 June warned that China would no longer be bullied by foreign forces in a speech which elicited roaring applause from an invited gathering at Tiananmen Square which participated in the centenary celebrations of the founding of the ruling Communist Party of China (CPC).
4. The World Bank announced on 30 June, it has increased its Covid-19 vaccine fund for developing countries by 8 billion to 20 billion.
5. Russia reported 672 coronavirus deaths over the past 24 hrs.
6. Indonesia has announced a lockdown on its main island Java, as well as the tourism destination of Bali.
