1. India and Australia have exchanged written notifications regarding the India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement , ECTA. The ECTA will enter into force on 29th December.

2. Bharat Biotech International Limited (BBIL) announced that iNCOVACC (BBV154), has received approval from the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) under Restricted Use in Emergency Situations for ages 18 and above, in India, for heterologous booster doses.

3. India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (Ind-Aus ECTA) will enter into force on December 29 paving the way for the elimination of duties on 100 per cent tariff lines and creating additional 10 lakh jobs in India.

4. India’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ruchira Kamboj met UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Tuesday and discussed the priorities and program of work ahead of India’s December Presidency in the UN Security Council.

5. The foundation stone for India’s first international Buddhist university was laid in Tripura’s Sabroom on Tuesday. Shakya Gasan, the chief monk of South Korea’s World Buddhist Pope Organisation, laid the foundation stone of Dhamma Dipa International Buddhist University (DDIBU) in the presence of delegates from seven countries.
