Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata party has made history for the first time in 27 years by winning the Delhi assembly elections, sweeping the AAP party by a lot. They have managed to pull out 48 out of 70 seats. This win has also ended the massive one-side dominance of Arvind Kejriwal.

1. Parvesh Verma

Parvesh Verma is the prominent BJP leader and Member of Parliament from West Delhi. It has been his significant role in Delhi politics as he is known for his grassroots connections and administrative experience. A strong contender for Chief Minister’s post, Verma.

2. Vijender Gupta

A mature politician, Vijender Gupta was the leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly once. He well understands the political dynamics of Delhi and experience in legislative matters makes him a natural Chief Ministerial candidate.

3. Manoj Tiwari

Manoj Tiwari is a former President of the Delhi BJP and Member of Parliament from North East Delhi. He enjoys a huge following among the Purvanchalis in Delhi, and his popularity and mass appeal can easily make him a front-runner for the top position.

4. Meenakshi Lekhi

Member of Parliament for New Delhi, Meenakshi Lekhi, has been an outspoken figure in national politics. Her experience in law and policy formulation adds to her credentials as a potential Chief Ministerial candidate.

5. Ramesh Bidhuri

Ramesh Bidhuri, an MP for South Delhi in the Lok Sabha, has undertaken various development activities in his constituency. It may be on account of this infrastructure and welfare approach that Ramesh could well be an acceptable candidate to hold the post of Chief Minister.

As the BJP prepares to form the government in Delhi after a 27-year hiatus, the selection of the Chief Minister will be crucial in shaping the capital’s future.
