1. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) said it has filed a charge sheet against two key associates of the designated terrorist Lakhbir Singh of the banned Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) organisation. The charge sheet was submitted before the NIA Special Court in Mohali, Punjab.
2. In the matter related to farmers’ protest at the border between Punjab and Haryana, the Supreme Court asked Punjab authorities to swiftly tackle the health situation of farmers’ leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal. He is on fast-unto-death at the Khanauri-Shambhu border for 20 days.
3. In Punjab, farmers blocked train routes at 52 places under Ferozepur Railway Division as part of their three-hour ‘Rail Roko’ protest. However, the protest passed off peacefully.
