1. Punjab and Haryana high court on Wednesday allowed a second post-mortem examination of Anuj Kumar, who died in police custody following his arrest in a case related to the firing outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai.
2. A complaint has been filed with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Karnataka Lokayukta against Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s son-in-law Radhakrishna Doddamani and five others on Monday in connection with an alleged Rs 800 crore scam.
3. CBI arrests four accused in case related to trafficking of Indian nationals for combat roles in Russian Army.
4. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) attached six immovable properties of a top militant named Asif Ahmed Malik of the banned Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist outfit in Kashmir terrorist infiltration case.
The Agency in a statement said that the properties belonging to terrorist are located in Mirpora, Pulwama which have been attached on the orders of NIA Special Court, Jammu. He was arrested in January 2020.
5. Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia Judicial Custody Extended in Excise Policy Case till 21 May by the Enforcement Directorate.
6. The Supreme Court on Wednesday said that it may pass an interim order on bail plea in the money laundering case linked to the alleged excise policy scam of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday.
