1. 161 cadets, including 143 men and 18 women, from across the country got commissioned as officers in the Indian Army, following the passing out parade (PoP) of the first batch of Short Service Commission (SSC), SSC (Tech) Men – 62 course and the women – 33 course, respectively, organised at Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Gaya on Saturday morning
It is first time that 18 women got commissioned after completing their training at the OTA. Lieutenant General RC Tiwari, General officer of eastern command, and the OTA commandant Lt. Gen. Sukriti Singh Dahiya reviewed the parade.
