1. Civil Defence Mock Drills were conducted across the country including 11 districts of the National Capital Delhi yesterday. The district controller, other district officials, civil defense wardens and volunteers, Home Guards, members of NCC, NSS, NYKS, and students from schools and colleges all actively participated in the exercise

1. A special CBI court Tuesday convicted former Karnataka minister and MLA Gali Janardhan Reddy and three others in the Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) illegal mining case.

National Investigation Agency (NIA) has appealed to all tourists, visitors and local people who might have any more information, photographs or videos relating to the Pahalgam terror attack on tourists to immediately share with it. In its appeal, NIA has urged all such people to call up the agency on mobile number 96 54 95 88 16 or on landline number – 011 24 36 88 00.

3. In the wake of Operation Sindoor, several domestic flights have been cancelled. In its advisory, Air India informed that the flights to and from Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Chandigarh and Rajkot have been cancelled till the 10th of this month.

1. In the early hours of 7 May 2025, India launched a highly coordinated military operation, codenamed Operation Sindoor, targeting terror infrastructure across nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

The operation was conducted jointly by the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force and lasted just 25 minutes, from 1:05 AM to 1:30 AM.

India conducted 24 missile strikes on nine terror sites in Pakistan and POK, killing 70 terrorists, in response to Pahalgam attack.

2. Indian forces shot down a Pakistan Air Force JF-17 fighter jet, according to a report by IndiaTVNews.The incident occurred in the Akhnoor region of Jammu and Kashmir.

3. Jaish Terrorist Masood Azhar Says, his 10 Family Members, Four Aides Killed In Operation Sindoor at Pakistan’s Bahawalpur.

4. Indian Armed Forces utilized sophisticated precision strike weapon systems, including loitering munitions, to target nine terrorist camps. These strikes were executed entirely from Indian soil, with intelligence agencies providing precise coordinates for the attacks.

5. The family members of Navy Lieutenant Vinay Narwal from Karnal, who was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack, have expressed happiness over the destruction of Pakistani terrorist hideouts under Operation Sindoor.
