The other three colleges are Kanakapura Institute of Medical Sciences at Kanakapura in Ramanagara district, BGS Medical College and Hospital at Nagarur, Bengaluru North, and PES University Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Konappana Agrahara, Electronics City, Bengaluru.
8. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad has forecasted heavy rainfall for two days in almost all districts of Telangana, the state will see heavy rains on Monday and Tuesday.

The speeding BMW that hit a scooter in Mumbai’s Worli yesterday morning, leading to a woman’s death, was being driven by the 24-year-old son of a senior leader of the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, police have said. The police also suspect that Mihir Shah, who is on the run, was drunk at the time of the incident. His blood test report is awaited.
The accused is the son of Rajesh Shah, deputy leader of the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra’s Palghar district. The politician and his driver, Rajendra Singh Bijawat, were arrested in the evening for not cooperating with the police.

1. LIC on June 4, announced the launch of ‘Jeevan Samarth’, an initiative aimed at transforming the agency ecosystem. To achieve this, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has partnered with a global consulting firm, which will undertake this agency transformation project by reviewing its existing agency framework on an end-to-end basis.
2. Punjab National Bank management has advertised for the recruitment of 2700 apprentices. These 2700 apprentices will be hired for one year and will be given Rs. 10000 to 15000 as allowance. For this, there will be a written exam as well as an interview. The bank wants to get the work done from these apprentices instead of hiring permanent employees.

1. Kulgam Encounter: The body of sixth terrorist was sighted on the second day as the search operation by the security forces continued in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday (July 7). Other terrorists were neutralised in the encounter that broke out on Saturday (July 6). A total of six terrorists have been killed so far.
2. The Indian Army on Sunday paid tributes to the two soldiers who lost their lives in two separate encounters in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
3. A soldier was injured in a terrorist attack on an Army camp in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. This attack comes a day after two terror strikes killed two jawans in Kulgam district.The terrorists opened fire on the Army camp, and soldiers guarding the post retaliated, resulting in injuries during the exchange.
4. The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Saturday unveiled the indigenous Light Tank ‘Zorawar’, which it is developing with private sector firm Larsen and Toubro (L&T).
5. Vice Admiral Gurcharan Singh, Commandant of the National Defence Academy, delivered the valedictory address at the conclusion of the 42nd Naval Technical Staff Course (NTSC-42) at the Military Institute of Technology (MILIT) in Pune.

The General Officer Commanding of the Fire and Fury Corps presided over the ceremony, dedicating the stadium to the community members of Aryan Valley and the bravehearts of Operation Vijay.
