2. Parliament passes bill to empower Government to make rules regulating design, manufacture, export or import of aircraft. The Parliament has given its nod to the Bharatiya Vayuyan Vidheyak 2024 with the Rajya Sabha passing it yesterday.

*The Bill empowers the Central Government to make rules regulating the design, manufacture, maintenance, sale, export, or import of any aircraft and to secure the safety of aircraft operations. The Bill is also aimed at empowering the government to make rules for the investigation of any air accident or incident.

3. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) yesterday successfully launched the European Space Agency’s (ESA) PROBA-3 mission satellites from Sriharikota. It is a significant milestone in international space collaboration and solar research technology.

1. The Manipur government on Thursday extended the suspension of mobile internet for two days in nine districts of the state till December 7.
(Internet services have been temporarily suspended since November 16, after violence broke out in the state following the recovery of the bodies of three women and three children in Jiri and Barak rivers in Manipur and Assam, respectively)
