1. President Smt Droupadi Murmu and Vice President Shree Jagdeep Dhankar have greeted the people on the eve of Diwali.
2. Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution has said that procurement operations of Paddy are ongoing in full swing in the States of Punjab and Haryana. This festival commemorates Lord Krishna’s victory over the demon Narakasura. Traditional rituals include decorating homes and lighting diyas. 1.
