2. Police confiscated over 1,000 sacks of fertilisers from the warehouse of a trader in the Berasia locality of Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday. The fertiliser sacks were confiscated as the trader had allegedly stored them illegally and was selling them secretly through black marketing,

1. Vistara airlines will be merged with Tata-owned Air India by March 2024.
2. The Reserve Bank of India announced the launch of the first pilot for the retail digital Rupee on Ist December 2022. Digital currency or rupee is an electronic form of money, that can be used in contactless transactions.
Eight banks have been identified for phase-wise participation in this pilot. The first phase will begin with four banks including State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank and IDFC First Bank in four cities across the country. Four more banks, including Bank of Baroda, Union Bank of India, HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank will join this pilot subsequently.
3. Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) announced that the market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has approved Sundararaman Ramamurthy as the managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of the exchange.
