8. The Telangana Board will announce the TS SSC Class 10th results on April 30, 2025. Over 5.09 lakh students appeared in the exams held from March 21 to April 4. This year, students will receive both marks and grades, and results will be accessible online through the official BSE Telangana portal.
9. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has said there should be a national-level debate on Operation Kagar. Operation Kagar, launched by the Ministry of Home Affairs, is aimed at eradicating Naxals and dismantling the political ideology of Maoism.
The Union Home Minister announced that the central government is working towards a Naxal-free India, setting a target to eliminate Naxalism by 31st March 2026, ensuring that no citizen has to lose their life because of it.

It is celebrated on the Shukla Paksha Tritiya of the Hindu month of Vaisakha. According to the Mahabharata, on this day Lord Krishna presented the ‘akshaya patra’ to the pandavas while on their exile. He blessed them with this bowl that would continue to produce unlimited amount of food that would never leave them hungry. This day is also celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Parashurama.

5. Lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha’s administration has indefinitely shut more than half of the tourist destinations and trekking routes in Kashmir for visitors, citing security reasons in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror strike.
6. Investigations have identified Hashim Musa, a Pakistani national, as the mastermind behind the Pahalgam attack. Crucially, Musa is a former para commando of the Pakistan Army’s Special Forces, specifically believed to have served in the elite Special Service Group (SSG). After being dismissed from the Pakistan Army, he joined the banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

2. Ground Zero marks Emraan Hashmi’s return to the silver screen after he was last seen in Tiger 3 in a negative role. In this film, Emraan is seen in the role of Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, who is best known for leading an operation against terrorist Rana Tahir Nadeem, known as Ghazi Baba, in 2003. Emraan Hashmi’s movie is based on a counter-terrorism operation that eliminated Ghazi Baba, who was behind the 2001 parliament and Akshardham Temple attack.

1. PM Modi chaired a high-level meeting with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and other officials at his residence in New Delhi . The meeting was held in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
2. Indian Air Force to get new Vice Chief as Air Marshal Narmadeshwar Tiwari steps in as the new Vice Chief, succeeding Air Marshal SP Dharkar on May 1. Simultaneously, Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit will assume the role of CISC, taking over from Lt Gen JP Matthew.
3. IAF to use 16 Delhi government schools as temporary observation posts during defence exercise. The 16 schools will be temporarily used during the ibid exercise being conducted from April 28 to May 2 on 24×7 basis.
4. Indian Ministry of Defence (MoD), under the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” initiative, signed two contracts with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the supply of 156 Light Combat Helicopters (LCH), also known as Prachand, along with training and associated equipment. The contracts have a total value of ₹62,700 crore (approximately $7.36 billion), excluding taxes.
5. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ashish Mehrotra has assumed office as Commander of the Indian Coast Guard District 4 which includes Kerala and Mahe. The officer took over from Commander DIG N Ravi at the Kerala headquarters of Coast Guard in Kochi on Monday.
