ASSAM govt has decided to use SAANS, an air pressure machine developed by a Bangalore-based start-up, in the state-run hospitals across the state. ‘SAANS’ is a portable neonatal Continuous Positive Air Pressure (CPAP) system that can provide lifesaving breathing support to infants in hospital settings as well as during travel.

Show-cause notices have been issued to Shanti Dhariwal, Mahesh Joshi and Dharmendra Rathore, demanding a reply within 10 days as to why action should not be taken against them.
17. UTTARPRADESH cabinet gave its approval for the development of the first tiger reserve in the state’s Bundelkhand region. The cabinet approved notifying Ranipur Tiger Reserve under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
