5. Indian Railways has made nearly 500 railway stations Divyangjan, Aged and Children friendly by installing the lifts and escalators at railway stations across the country under the Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan.

6. Final voter list for the upcoming state assembly elections will be released on October 10: Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said .

7. The General Fertility Rate (GFR) has declined in India by 20% over the past decade. GFR refers to the number of children born per 1,000 women in a year in the reproductive age group of 15-49 years.

8. The Royal Society of Chemistry and CSIR collaborate: An initiative to promote chemical sciences in schools is being supported by a partnership. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organisations states that they will collaborate on the CSIR’s Jigyasa programme.

9. ANDHRA PRADESH : The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which manages the Tirumala temple, has introduced electric buses from Tirupati to Tirumala, in order to make Tirumala more eco-friendly. The first batch of 10 electric buses were flagged off by Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday

ASSAM govt has decided to use SAANS, an air pressure machine developed by a Bangalore-based start-up, in the state-run hospitals across the state. ‘SAANS’ is a portable neonatal Continuous Positive Air Pressure (CPAP) system that can provide lifesaving breathing support to infants in hospital settings as well as during travel.

11. BIHAR : All “backward states” including Bihar should be given special category status, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar reiterated on Tuesday.

12. GUJARAT : PM Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat Express from Gandhinagar railway station on September 30 in the presence of CM Bhupendra Patel.

13. HIMACHAL : Shimla-Delhi flights resume after two years. Commercial passenger aviation services, which remained suspended between Himachal Pradesh capital, Shimla, and New Delhi, resumed on September 26, 2022 after a gap of almost two years

14. JHARKHAND : Union Minister of Tribal affairs Arjun Munda flagged off a Special train from Hatia railway station in Ranchi to Hosur in Tamil Nadu. The special train carried first batch of 822 girls under the recruitment drive jointly organised by Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Tata Electronics Limited.

15. MAHARASHTRA : The Supreme Court has refused to stay proceedings before Election Commission of India, regarding the Shiv Sena election Symbol.

16. RAJASTHAN : Amid the political crisis in Rajasthan, Congress observers on Tuesday submitted their report to party interim chief Sonia Gandhi and recommended disciplinary action against three party leaders for ‘grave indiscipline’. Show-cause notices have been issued to Shanti Dhariwal, Mahesh Joshi and Dharmendra Rathore, demanding a reply within 10 days as to why action should not be taken against them.

17. UTTARPRADESH cabinet gave its approval for the development of the first tiger reserve in the state’s Bundelkhand region. The cabinet approved notifying Ranipur Tiger Reserve under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.

18. Senior bureaucrat Rajendra Kumar has been appointed the director general of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, as part of a senior-level bureaucratic reshuffle effected by the Centre.

1. Law enforcement agencies conduct nationwide raids at Popular Front of India establishments: The Delhi Police conducted searches in Nizamuddin, Shaheen Bagh, and other areas of the city, based on the inputs from Central Agencies. The Police said more than 30 people have been arrested.

2. Delhi court has sent Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan to 14-day judicial custody in connection with a case of alleged irregularities at the Delhi Waqf Board.

5. UTTAR PRADESH : Former underworld don Abu Salem on Tuesday received a three-year prison sentence in a fake passport case. An Uttar Pradesh court also imposed a fine of ₹10,000 on Salem, who along with his associates had forged documents to obtain a passport in 1993.

6. JAMMU : Two Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in J&K’s Kulgam district on Tuesday.

In this edition of the exhibition, only Indian companies will be allowed to take part. During the exhibition, the second edition of the India-Africa Defence Dialogue will also be held.
