7. In Jammu and Kashmir, the cabinet has approved the implementation of key budget announcements made by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in his budget speech on March 7. The key announcements include 200 units of free electricity for all Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) households under the PM’s Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, along with 10 kilograms of free ration per person for families in this category.

A CBI court in Chandigarh will on Saturday pronounce its judgment in the 2008 alleged “cash at judge’s door” case against Justice Nirmal Yadav, then a sitting judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The case against Justice Yadav had originated when a bag containing Rs 15 lakh was delivered at the residence of Justice Nirmaljit Kaur, another sitting judge of the high court.

1. SIKANDAR movie is set to be theatrically released worldwide on 30 March 2025, in standard and IMAX formats, coinciding with Eid-al-Fitr.
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, The film stars Salman Khan in the titular role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar.
2. The Raja Saab is an upcoming romantic comedy horror film written and directed by Maruthi, and produced by People Media Factory. The film features Prabhas in a triple role alongside Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, and Sanjay Dutt in important roles.
The film was initially scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release date on 10 April 2025 and in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages. However, the film’s release is delayed pending post production work
