Legendary Actor Waheeda Rehman to receive esteemed Dadasaheb Phalke award.

1. Government has said that the media reports claiming shortage of anti-TB medicines are ill-informed and misleading.

1. The Indian Air Force (IAF) inducts C-295MW transport aircraft. HS-748 Avro transport aircraft to be phased out. Indian Air Force (IAF) inducted its first C-295 medium tactical transport aircraft.

2. Army chiefs and senior officers from 30 countries including the United States met in India Tuesday to discuss threats facing the Asia-Pacific region, in the face of concern at an increasingly assertive China.
