1. Union Food Processing Minister Chirag Paswan today inaugurated a three-day international conference at the National Institute of Food Technology (NIFTEM), Kundli in Sonipat district.

7. Haryana’s Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda said that on the lines of PM Shri Schools, the state government will soon start CM Shri Schools. These schools will follow the CBSE pattern. He was replying to a question raised by a member during the Budget Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.

8. Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari launched the upgraded RAJMARG PRAVESH web portal for hassle-free obtaining of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for fuel stations.

9. A three-day orientation programme on the implementation of Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G) commenced in Visakhapatnam.

10. The Government of Andhra Pradesh has forged a significant partnership with Anna University to develop an innovative Drone Ambulance, placing the project under the expert guidance of Dr G Satheesh Reddy, former Chief of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

1. Multiple Passport Seva Kendras attached to Post offices in West Bengal received threat emails informing them of bombs yesterday. Passport Seva Kendras of Cooch Behar, Bankura and other districts received such mails.

2. Maharashtra’s home department has informed the State Legislative Assembly that 93,940 women had gone missing from the state over the past two years, of whom 67,458 or 71.8 per cent had been traced or had returned home.

3. The Assam government is seeking a fast-track court to expedite the Zubeen Garg death case trial following a request from the singer’s family, amidst allegations of a conspiracy to influence the proceedings.

1. President Smt Droupadi Murmu will witness the Indian Air Force’s Exercise ‘Vayu Shakti’ in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, today. President Murmu arrived in Jaisalmer last evening on a two-day visit to the state.

2. The Indian Navy has successfully concluded cost negotiations with ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (TKMS), the German shipbuilder, for the construction of six advanced diesel-electric submarines under the ambitious Project 75(I).

3. INS Aridhaman, India’s third Arihant-class nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine (SSBN), is nearing commissioning in early 2026, enhancing the nation’s sea-based nuclear deterrence.

4. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for the procurement of four to six Long Range Business Jets (LRBJs) tailored specifically for VIP transportation roles.

5. The Jammu and Kashmir Police have unveiled a newly formed elite squad named ‘Snow Leopard’. It is a specialised high-altitude unit designed for extreme terrain and mountain security challenges to conduct anti-terror operations in the Union Territory.

6. In Chhattisgarh, two Maoists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Bijapur district yesterday. Three rifles and other weapons and ammunition have been recovered from the spot.
