CBI in its statement said that teams have conducted nationwide searches over 60 locations, in connection with the GainBitcoin cases. These locations include Delhi, Pune, Nanded, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Mohali, Jhansi, and Hubli.

1. Chief of the Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi visited the 3rd Division of the French Army at France’s Ganteaume Fort in Marseille. General Dwivedi, who is on a four-day official visit to France.

2. Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Navy carried out successful flight trials of the first-of-its-kind Naval Anti-Ship missile (NASM-SR) from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur, Odisha.

3. Terrorists Fire At Army Vehicle In Jammu And Kashmir’s Rajouri District, No Casualties Reported So Far: In Jammu and Kashmir, an army vehicle came under fire from suspected terrorists in a forward village near the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district. The terrorists believed to be hiding in a forest, fired a few rounds at the army vehicle passing through the area, which is considered a traditional infiltration route for terrorists.

4. The Indian Navy has filed a case with the Mumbai Police in allegations of financial wrongdoings of around Rs 78 crore in the United Services Club located in the Colaba area in Mumbai. The USI is a 97-year-old Tri-Services Club run by the defence forces.

5. The Recruits Training Centre (RTC) of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in Arakkonam has been renamed Rajaditya Cholan (RTC), Thakkolam, in memory of the Chola prince. Rajwinder Singh Bhatti, Director General of the CISF, issued the order for the change of name on February 24.

6. The Indian Army has recently signed a contract with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Ltd worth ₹80.43 Crores for the procurement of 223 Automatic Chemical Agent Detection and Alarm (ACADA) systems. This strategic acquisition falls under the ‘Buy Indian (IDDM)’ category, aligning with the government’s ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ vision by promoting indigenous defence manufacturing.

7. Two Iranian warships, IRIS Boushehr and IRIS Lavan, are currently on a goodwill and training visit to Mumbai, India, from February 25 to 28, 2025. This visit aims to enhance maritime cooperation and strengthen mutual friendship between the two nations.
