1. Nationwide Covid-19 emergency preparedness mock drills to be conducted in all hospitals today.

1. CBI has arrested Videocon Chairman Venugopal Dhoot in the ICICI bank loan fraud case in Mumbai.

2. Central Bureau of Investigation Special Judge, Gwalior has convicted four accused in two separate cases related to Madhya Pradesh Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal (Vyapam).

3. Chanda Kochhar, the former managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of ICICI Bank, and her husband Deepak Kochhar were arrested by the CBI on Friday in relation to their alleged role in the Videocon loan case. The charges include irregularities in loans and cheating in the Videocon case, which dates back to 2012.

1. Foreign investors pumped more than 8,300 crore rupees in the Indian capital markets this month.

1. The first ever batch of ‘AGNIVEERS’ selected under the Government of India sponsored AGNIPATH scheme from Union Territory of J&K joined Indian Army for training as AGNIVEER General Duty, AGNIVEER Technical, AGNIVEER Clerk/ Storekeeper Technical and AGNIVEER Tradesmen.

The candidates will report for training between 25 to 30 December 2022 in 30 Training centres and their training shall commence with effect from 01 January 2023.

2. Major Meghna, Indian Ex-Services League member from UP thanks PM Narendra Modi for approving the revision of pension of Armed Forces Pensioners under One Rank One Pension scheme.

3. Border Security Force (BSF) handed over a 15-year-old Bangladeshi boy to the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on the International Border (IB) in Meghalaya. “The boy had inadvertently crossed the International Boundary and entered into Indian territory on Sunday.

4. Indian Coast Guard in a joint operation with ATS Gujarat apprehended a Pakistani fishing boat with 10 crew in Indian waters off the Gujarat coast. Arms, ammunition and approximately 40 kilograms of narcotics worth ₹300 crore were found on the boat.
