1. President Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday completed four years in office. He was sworn in as the 14th President of India on 25 July, 2017.

2. PM’s monthly Mann Ki Baat: PM Modi pays tribute to Kargil martyrs, talks about Tokyo Olympics. PM stressed on ‘Nation First, Always First’ mantra, he said as the country enters its 75th year of Independence, every citizen should lead a “Bharat Jodo Andolan” in the same manner as Mahatma Gandhi had led the “Bharat Chhoro Andolan”.

3. The Army, Navy, Air Force & NDRF rescued the people affected by floods in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Goa.

4. PM Modi has expressed grief over the accident caused by landslide near Basteri on Sangla-Chitkul road in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh. The horrifying incident was reported around 2:15 pm 25 Jul (Sunday), a vehicle carrying 11 tourists was hit by the landslide, out of which 9 were killed and 2 were injured.

5. Himachal CM Jairam Thakur expressed his grief over the incident. Govt announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMs National Relief Fund will be given to the next of kin & Rs. 50 thousand to the injured.

6. In Karnataka, suspense continued on the possible change CM B S Yediyurappa saying a decision on whether he will continue in office or not will be known by 26 Jul (Monday).

7. CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2021 results, the CBSE would make an announcement regarding Class 10, 12 results date and time on Monday (July 26).

14. Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021: The Indian Air Force has invited applications to fill vacancies in various Group ‘C’ posts of IAF. The age limit for all posts is 18-25 years as per the notice given in the Employment Newspaper. Class 10, 12 pass & graduates are eligible for this job.
