1. The Election Commission said, more than 50 crore 47 lakh enumeration forms have been distributed among electors since the launch of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Phase -2. It is over 99 per cent of nearly 51 crore electors to be covered in this phase.

2. Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan addressed Civil Services Officer Trainees at the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics at Palasamudram in Andhra Pradesh.

3. The first-ever auction of limestone mineral blocks in Jammu and Kashmir will be formally launched in Jammu on today. The event will be led by Coal Minister G. Kishan Reddy.

4. The commemoration of 350th year of Martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji has begun at the sacred land of Sri Anandpur Sahib for three days starting yesterday.

5. The Jammu and Kashmir administration has issued a circular ordering widespread celebrations for Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, on 26th of November. The day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India.

6. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has promised full cooperation to the NDA government in Bihar provided Chief Minister Nitish Kumar did justice to the Muslim-dominated Seemanchal region, and kept communalism at bay.

The Hyderabad MP made remarks to this effect during his two-day tour of Seemanchal, the north-eastern region of Bihar from where five of the AIMIM’s candidates achieved victory in the recent assembly polls.

7. Jharkhand Congress president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh on Sunday said over 5,000 party workers from the state would take part in a rally next month at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi to protest against the alleged vote theft.

8. The forest department launched a large search using thermal drones and other equipment after a leopard was seen in a residential area in Aundh, Pune, on Sunday.

9. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has cleared four national highway projects in Telangana, three of which have Jagtial as the focus and a fourth that will make the drive to the pilgrim town of Mantrayalam, and Goa, easier for state residents.

10. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog conditions in northern parts of West Uttar Pradesh till tomorrow. IMD has also predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

1. The chairman of a Supreme Court-appointed high-powered committee for the management of the Banke Bihari temple has prohibited climbing stairs or offering darshan at the Jagmohan hall of the shrine after non-compliance by the priests.

2. KSRTC is all set to introduce dynamic pricing on inter-state bus routes to mitigate losses from vacant seats. In the initial stage, this system will be launched on premium AC buses running on the Bengaluru and Mysuru routes.

3. Delhi Police has arrested four accused involved in operating and facilitating a multi-layered money-laundering network, part of a pan-India online investment fraud worth 5.92 crore rupees. In a statement, Delhi Police said that the accused are cyber fraudsters, linked to about ten Cybercrime Complaints registered on the National Cyber Reporting Platform.

4. The State of Tamil Nadu had approached the Supreme Court seeking a stay on the operation of the permission given by the Central Water Commission to go ahead with the preparation of a Detailed Project Report for the Mekedatu Balancing Reservoir cum Drinking Water project.

5. A delegation of BJP legislators late Saturday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, seeking a review of the first admission list of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence (SMVDIME) in Reasi district, after the 50-seat MBBS batch was found to comprise 42 students from the Muslim community.

6. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday said the state government’s proposed bill to ban polygamy is not aimed at targeting Miyas’, adding that the practice exists among people of other religions as well.

7. The Union home ministry Sunday said that it has no intention to bring the proposed Bill on Chandigarh that intends to “simplify the law-making” process for the Centre in the upcoming Winter session of Parliament and asserted that the proposal doesn’t aim to change traditional arrangements between Chandigarh and Punjab and Haryana.

8. An advertisement for a four-day event titled Tales of Kamasutra and Christmas Celebrations in Goa triggered outrage, prompting the police to direct the organisers to cancel the programme scheduled next month, the event scheduled to be held from December 25 to 28 in the coastal state.

1. Big Boost To Indian Animation – Mahavatar Enters Oscars Race : The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released the full list of films eligible for the 98th Academy Awards across Best Animated Feature, Best Documentary Feature, and Best International Feature categories. Ashwin Kumar’s Mahavatar Narsimha was listed among the movies, and it has tough competition as well.

2. The 56th International Film Festival of India in Panaji, Goa continues to charm film lovers through the magic of cinema. Our correspondent reports that the fourth day of the festival entertained people from elusive film screenings and masterclasses to melodious musical performances.

3. Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna is returning to the big screens to redeem himself after the failure of Daaku Maharaaj. He will be seen in Akhanda 2 Thaandavam, which is releasing in theatres on December 5, 2025. The Hindi trailer was unveiled.

4. Farhan Akhtar and Raashii Khanna starrer 120 Bahadur hit the big screens on November 21, 2025. The historical war film directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai made a fair opening. Word of mouth is growing, resulting in over 1.5 times the growth on Saturday.

1. Indian Navy will commission Mahe, the first Mahe-class Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai today. Chief of the Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi will preside over the ceremony. Mahe is built with over 80 per cent indigenous content.

2. The College of Defence Management (CDM), under the Integrated Defence Staff (IDS), successfully conducted a week-long Management Development Programme (MDP) on Research Methodology from 17 to 22 November 2025. The specialised programme was attended by 29 mid-level officers from the Indian Armed Forces.

3. Wing Commander Afshan on Sunday paid her last respects to her husband, Wing Commander Namansh Syal, who tragically lost his life in a Tejas fighter jet crash during the Dubai Air Show.

The crash occurred on November 21, 2025, and Namansh’s mortal remains were brought to his ancestral village, Patialkar, in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, for the last rites.

4. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police force, which guards the 3,488 km-long India-China LAC, is establishing 10 all-women border posts along this arduous and icy frontier. Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) DG Praveen Kumar said this during the 64th Raising Day parade of the force held in Jammu on Saturday.

The Centre had sanctioned seven more battalions and a sector office comprising about 9,400 personnel for the ITBP in 2023.
