1. National Investigation Agency (NIA) has chargesheeted four terror operatives of the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist organisation in the September 2024 Chandigarh grenade attack case. An official statement said that the accused include Pakistan-based designated terrorist Harwinder Singh Sandhu alias Rinda, and US-based Harpreet Singh alias Happy Passi.

The Nacotics Control Bureau, NCB has said that a notorious gangster and drug trafficker Jagdeep Singh alias Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, has been detained and shifted from Bathinda of Punjab to Central Jail in Silchar of Assam. The gangster has been detained under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Physchotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act. Jaggu who is also an accused in Sidhu Moosewala’s murder case.

1. The government has notified significant revisions to turnover and investment criteria for classifying MSMEs that will take effect from April 1. Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with investments up to 2.5 crore rupees will now be classified as micro-enterprises, from the previous threshold of 1 crore rupees. The turnover limit has been revised from 5 crore rupees to 10 crore rupees.
