After the retest, if they fail again, they will not be promoted.

Suryavanshi, who was arrested in connection with riots that took place after a replica of the Constitution was allegedly desecrated by a mentally ill man, died when he was in judicial custody. After meeting the family members of Suryavanshi in Parbhani, Rahul Gandhi demanded action against the police officers responsible for his death.

5. An ancient well, sealed for many years but containing clean water, was recently uncovered at a religious site in the Shahzadi Sarai area in Sambhal UP, officials reported on Monday. According to an administration official, efforts are underway to restore the well, which is located in the city.

1. The producers of ‘Pushpa 2’, Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar from the Mythri Movie Makers production house, visited Sri Tej at a city hospital along with cinematography minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Monday to enquire about his health. Sri Tej is a survivor of the December 4 stampede at Sandhya theatre during the release of the movie. His mother M. Revati died in the stampede. Sri Tej who sustained critically ill, is in an unconscious state. The producers consoled the family members of Sri Tej and handed over a cheque of ₹50 lakh to his father.

1. The Ministry of Defence has said that ‘Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas’ will be the theme of tableaux for Republic Day (RDC)-2025. It added that 15 states and Union Territories have been selected to showcase their tableaux on the Kartavya Path during the parade.

2. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) today unveiled a new posting policy. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Dr. K. C. Samantaray, IG (ADM) CISF, said, for the first time, choice-based posting has been introduced. He said that each personnel will have the opportunity to list ten preferred posting locations.
