The board has also officially declared that it will conduct only one board examination for the 2022-23 batch, which will be held at the end of the academic session.

1. Country registers nearly 6% growth in steel production with 31.9 million tonnes during January to March this year.

1. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh felicitates 1971 war veterans in Assam.
2. A Pakistani terrorist of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit was killed in an encounter with security forces in Kulgam district of J&K on Saturday.
Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the Mirhama area of Kulgam in south Kashmir following inputs about the presence of terrorists .

Speaking on the ongoing eastern Ladakh standoff between India and China, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that India will continue holding talks with China for a peaceful resolution on the eastern Ladakh row and thus the disengagement of the troops and de-escalation of the situation is the way forward.
India and China have so far held 15 rounds of military talks on the eastern Ladakh standoff including the last one being held on March 11.
