1. The Sixth International Agronomy Congress (IAC‑2025) will be held in New Delhi from 24‑26 November under the theme ‘Re‑envisioning Agronomy for Smart Agro‑Food Systems and Environmental Protection’.

2. Industry leaders across various sectors have welcomed the implementation of four labour codes in the country, called it a timely and essential for modern economy. They said the move will also boost formal job creation, expands social security net and streamlines compliance.

3. Indian Railways has completed 1020 million tonnes of freight loading this year so far. The Ministry of Railways said that coal remains the largest contributor over 500 million tonnes, followed by iron ore 115 million tonnes and cement 92 million tonnes.

1. Southern Railway launches QR-code grievance system to curb food quality issues: The system involves installation of unique QR codes in all the catering stalls; by scanning the QR code passengers are provided with essential details of the stall’s location and the station code.

2. The Telangana government has issued orders on Friday (November 21, 2025) transferring and posting thirty-two IPS officers across senior headquarters roles, city jurisdictions and district units.

2. 120 Bahadur Box Office Collection Day 1: The historical war drama, 120 Bahadur, arrived in theatres worldwide on 21 November, 2025. Starring Farhan Akhtar and Raashii Khanna in the lead, the Excel Entertainment production made a promising debut at the Indian box office. 120 Bahadur scored an opening of 2.35 crores* at the Indian box office. Government is planning to increase the National Cadet Corps’ (NCC) strength from 17 to 20 lakhs and expand its role in various programs to contribute to both national development and national security. Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh said. Director General of NCC, Lieutenant General Virendra Vats said that NCC has a presence in over 700 districts across India.

2. India’s BrahMos missile system has witnessed a remarkable surge in foreign interest following the success of Operation Sindoor, marking a threefold increase in global inquiries, especially showcased at the Dubai Air Show 2025.The military operation significantly enhanced the BrahMos missile’s reputation, with delegations from the Gulf, ASEAN, Africa, and Latin America.

India and Russia are presently engaged in high-level negotiations for joint production of the Su-57 fifth-generation fighter jet, with Moscow offering unprecedented transfer of technology and localisation opportunities.This collaboration, aligned with India’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Self-Reliant India’ initiatives, marks a pivotal moment in bilateral defence relations ahead of the upcoming annual summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

4. Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) has signed a significant technology transfer agreement with the Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL), part of DRDO, to enable large-scale production of DMR 249A steel sheets. This specialised steel is designed for high-performance defence applications, primarily across naval and land military platforms.

5. The United States has approved a major missile sale to India valued at approximately $93 million, encompassing two key weapons systems: the FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank missile system and M982A1 Excalibur precision-guided artillery projectiles, reported American defence portal National Interest.This approval, announced by the US Defence Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) in November 2025.
