1. PM Modi has reaffirmed the country’s commitment to conserving water and promoting sustainable development on World Water Day yesterday.
2. Election Commission said grassroots-level meetings with political parties are underway at ERO, DEO, and CEO levels. A total of 4,123 electoral registration officers, and EROs, across the country are holding all-party meetings to resolve any pending polling booth-level issues in their assembly constituencies. All 788 District Election Officers and 36 Chief Electoral Officers of all 28 states and 8 UTs have also been directed to hold such meetings to resolve any pending issues.
3. The Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Dr V Narayanan, said that the organisation is working on a mission to take an Indian to the Moon and bring him back safely. He also said that India will have its own space station by 2035.

1. India has doubled its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the last 10 years at a growth of 105 percent, from 2.1 trillion dollars in 2015 to 4.3 trillion dollars in 2025. According to the data released by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), India is now the fifth-largest country in terms of GDP in the world after the US, China, Germany and Japan.

1. Indian Navy, Coast Guard rescue two Chinese, one Indonesian from aboard merchant vesselinjuries. The Navy added that the fourth crew succumbed to injuries.
According to reports early hours of 21 March 2025, the Indian Navy successfully carried out a critical Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) operation from Merchant Vessel (MV) Heilan Star, a Panama-flagged bulk carrier, located about 230 nautical miles West of Goa.

4. In Jharkhand, Sub-Inspector Sunil Kumar Mandal of the CRPF 193rd Battalion died during medical treatment at a private hospital in Ranchi. Mandal had sustained severe injuries in an IED blast planted by Naxals, which also injured Head Constable Pritam Kumar Dey in the West Singhbhum district.
