1. A UP court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against ex-MP & actress Jaya Prada in two cases related to violation of the model code of conduct during 2019 Lok Sabha elections. “The…court has fixed January 9 for the next hearing in the case and issued [the warrant].
2. The Enforcement Directorate, which has been investigating into the Delhi liquor scam, alleged that K. Kavitha, Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLC and daughter of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, was one of the biggest beneficiaries of the scam besides the Aam Admi Party.
3. Uttarakhand High Court has rejected a petition for a CBI inquiry into the murder of 19-year-old Rishikesh receptionist Ankita Bhandari, stating that the current SIT probe is satisfactory.

1. Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar said that the allocation for Scheduled Tribe Component (STC) funds has been increased from 19,437 crore rupees in 2014-15 to 87,585 crore rupees in 2022-23.
2. Government is spending over 26 thousand crore rupees to provide 4G mobile services to nearly 25 thousand uncovered villages in the country.
