1. The Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI), Hyderabad, on Thursday, February 19, arrested Pankaj Kumar, founder and director of Adsum Advisory Service Private Limited, for allegedly facilitating illegal online gaming operations. The GST authorities uncovered an organised syndicate worth Rs 13,000 crore operating illegal online gaming websites with the help of fintech companies.
2. The Supreme Court directed the deployment of serving and former district judges to assist the Election Commission in the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in West Bengal.
3. The Maharashtra home department has recommended a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the aircraft crash that claimed the life of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and three others, including two pilots and a flight attendant.
4. Youth Congress workers arrested for staging shirtless protest at AI Impact Summit expo hall: Around a dozen Youth Congress activists gained entry to the Bharat Mandapam by registering online and staged the protest at around 12:30 pm.

1. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the 13th edition of Exercise MILAN-2026 at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, marking the commencement of one of the world’s prominent multilateral naval exercises. The event underscores India’s expanding maritime outreach and its role as a trusted and responsible maritime partner.
2. The Southern Command has developed an indigenously designed long-range fixed-wing surveillance drone to enhance real-time intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) across its operational zones, drawing on recent operational experience, including lessons from Operation Sindoor.
The drone, named SOM, was developed by the 21 Corps Zonal Workshop in Bhopal under Southern Command.
3. The Indian Navy hosted an international fleet review (IFR) off the coast of Visakhapatnam and used the event to showcase self-reliance in making warships and systems.
4. Naval forces of Iran and Russia held a joint drill in the Gulf of Oman and the northern Indian Ocean, amid growing speculation about an impending US military strike against Iran.
