1. The President of India Droupadi Murmu has been visiting the states of UP, Odisha, and Tamil Nadu. The President participated in the 37th Statehood Day celebrations of Arunachal Pradesh.
2. The State of Arunachal Pradesh celebrated its statehood day on February 20. President Murmu attended the state celebrations. The statehood was granted in 1987. It was the 24th state in the country.
3. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched a Learning-Teaching Material called ‘Jaadui Pitara’ for Foundational Stages in New Delhi on Monday.
4. The Union Minister for Science and Technology recently announced that a new nuclear plant is to be built in Gorakhpur, Haryana. This will be the first nuclear plant in North India. The plant is to be built on 560 hectares of land. It will generate 2800 MW. The foundation stone was laid in 2014.
5. Experts of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)-Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Sikkal, Nagapattinam, found the ADT 52 crop variety to be resistant to unseasonal rains.

10. Former Gujarat governor and veteran BJP leader from Delhi O P Kohli passed away on Monday, Om Prakash Kohli served as the 19th governor of Gujarat from 2014 to 2019. He also served as the governor of Madya Pradesh and Goa.
11. Former Meghalaya Home Minister passed away on Monday after suffering a massive heart attack. As per reports, Lyngdoh, who was a United Democratic Party (UDP) candidate from the Sohiong Assembly constituency for the upcoming elections, collapsed during a party meeting. He was rushed to a hospital, but could not survive.

1. According to Government data, retail and wholesale traders are topping the table of top 10 segments or sub-sectors in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector based on the number of registrations on the Udyam portal.
2. Godrej Aerospace has bagged the order to manufacture eight modules of the DRDO’s turbojet engine.

2. Opening ceremony of Jr NTR’s upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘NTR 30’, has been postponed due to the death of Nandamuri Taraka Ratna. The event was supposed to be held on February 24. Taraka Ratna, the cousin of Jr NTR, died on Saturday in a Bengaluru hospital, where he had been admitted after collapsing during a rally in January

1. INS Sumedha participated in the Naval Defence Exhibition called the NAVDEX and International Defence Exhibition called the IDEX conducted in Abu Dhabi recently. The Naval Ship showcased the indigenous ship-building skills of India at the exhibitions.
2. The Indian Air Force has developed a solution for its fighter pilots to deal with bad weather. The innovative solution developed is a new data link communication called VAYULINK. It will provide uninterrupted communication even during bad weather.
3. The Bharat Electronics Limited operating under the defence ministry recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) at the Aero India Air Show. According to the agreement, BEL and IAI will establish a joint venture.
4. A military exercise DUSTLIK (2023) will be conducted from February 20th to 5th March 2023 in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. It is a military-to-military exchange program between the Indian Army and 🇺🇿UZBEKISTAN.
5. Indian Ambassador to 🇦🇪UAE Sunjay Sudhir visited the BrahMos Aerospace stall at the IDEX defence exhibition there. The Indian envoy was briefed on the different projects undertaken by the Indo- 🇷🇺Russian joint venture company and its efforts towards promoting exports by BrahMos chief AD Rane.
