1. Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) recently announced a new scheme Mission 50K-EV4ECO to boost the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem in the country.

Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Limited posted a 983% year-on-year jump in the net profit clocked during the fourth quarter of FY23 at ₹11.54 crore as against ₹1.06 crore in the corresponding period of FY22. The company also declared a dividend of ₹3.50 per fully paid-up equity share of ₹10 each, aggregating to ₹5.28 crore, for the fiscal ended March 31, 2023.

3. Vodafone Idea has appointed billionaire Kumar Mangalam Birla as a non-executive director on its board. This comes nearly two years after he stepped down as the non-executive director in August 2021.

4. Adani Power on Thursday said it has signed an agreement with MPSEZ Utilities Limited (MUL) for power supply. The power supply agreement is for 15 years. “Adani Power has entered into a long-term power supply agreement (PSA) with MUL for 360 MW capacity to be supplied from its 4,620 MW power plant at Mundra, Gujarat, for 15 years.

1. Defence minister Rajnath Singh said “war preparedness should be a continuous phenomenon and we should always be ready for unpredictable and uncertain events that may crop up at any time. He expressed confidence in the Indian Army to handle any contingency along the country’s border with China.

2. India’s first C-295 aircraft has rolled out of the Airbus defence production facility in the city of Seville, located in southern Spain.

Images and videos of the military aircraft emerging from the Airbus Defence and Space’s San Pablo site, which is home to the military transport activities and the Final Assembly Line (FAL) for the four-engine turboprop-powered A400M airlifter and twin-turboprop C295, have now gone viral on social media.

The plane is the first of the 16 medium–lift tactical transport airport aircraft which will be delivered to the Indian Air Force (IAF) in flyaway condition.

3. Indian Army confirms terrorists attacked Army truck in J&K : A video has surfaced online showing an Indian Army truck on fire in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch, that led to the death of five soldiers. The Army said that the truck caught fire due to the likely use of grenades by unidentified terrorists who fired on the truck in the Rajouri sector. The martyred soldiers were deployed for counter-terrorist operations.
