1. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued a modification in bank working hours, with effect from April. According to the new directions, banks will be open five days a week, with Saturday and Sunday off.

1. Sky Force OTT release: Prime Video has announced the global streaming premiere of Sky Force, starring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya. Helmed by directors Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, the action-drama – is produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. The film released in theatres on January 24 this year.

Sky Force is centred around India’s first airstrike, the Sargodha airbase attack on Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965.

4. Ordnance Factory Day is observed every year on March 18 to commemorate the establishment of the first Ordnance Factory in colonial India near Kolkata in 1801. This day highlights the research, development, and production capabilities of the Indian Ordnance Factories, which play a crucial role in enhancing India’s defence sector.

5. The Cabinet Committee on Security has approved a Rs 7,000 crore deal to procure 307 advanced towed artillery gun systems (ATAGS) and 327 gun-towing vehicles for the Army. Developed by DRDO, the ATAGS have a strike range of 45-48 km and will boost homegrown manufacturing capabilities.
