5. The govt has allocated 10 thousand 180 crore rupees to Rajasthan in the current financial year under Jal Jeevan Mission. Ministry of Jal Shakti has said that it is a four-fold increase from two thousand 522 crore rupees allocated in the last financial year. The Ministry said that the central government is providing all-out support to States to make provision of tap water supply to every rural household of the country by 2024.

15.Indian Railway Rules : Now TTE cannot check your ticket in trains, According to the rules of Indian Railways, if you are sleeping during the journey, then even TTE cannot pick you up. If a passenger is traveling in the train since morning, TTE cannot disturb you after 10 pm. if a passenger boards the train after 10 pm, the TTE has the right to come and check your ticket and ID.
16. Yes Bank Cuts Interest Rates On Savings Account: 0.75% to 5.25%. The interest rate on regular, senior citizen, rural, semi-urban, and urban savings accounts has been reduced from 6 percent to 5.25 percent with effect from 15 Dec 2021.
17. Yes Bank is currently providing a 4.5% interest rate on daily balances of less than one lac, 4.5% on balances between one lac and ten lacs, 5 % on balances between ten lacs and one crore, and 5.25% on daily balances between one crore and one hundred crores.

According to the Ministry of Finance, 3.59 crore Income Tax Returns (ITRs) were filed via the new e-filing portal of the Income Tax Department as of December 15, 2021. 19. State Bank of India (SBI) has ncreased benchmark lending rate or base rate by 0.1%. The new rate is effective from December 15, 2021. 20. From January 1, 2022, customers of the India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) will be charged for cash deposits and withdrawals. If the free limit set by the bank is exceeded, these charges, which are exclusive of GST/CESS, will be charged. Cash withdrawals, which are free up to 4 transactions per month for a Basic Savings Account, will be charged at 0.50% of the total amount, subject to a minimum of Rs 25 per transaction. 21. The Defence Research and Development Organisation’s R&D lab conducted a flight demonstration of Controlled Aerial Delivery System of 500 kg capacity (CADS-500) on 18 Dec, The system, developed by Aerial Delivery Research and Development Establishment (ADRDE) in Agra, was para-dropped from an AN32 aircraft and then steered to the predesignated landing point in autonomous mode.
