1. President Smt Droupadi Murmu will confer the National Awards for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities tomorrow. 22 persons and 11 Institutions will be conferred the National Awards.

2. Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has said that a total of 1.30 crore Digital Life Certificates, DLCs were generated during the DLC Campaign 3.0 which concluded on Saturday. The campaign was launched on the 1st of last month to simplify digital life certificate submissions particularly for super senior pensioners.

The state government revoked a government order (GO) issued on 21 October 2023, which had elected three members and nominated seven others to the 11-member Waqf Board.
