1. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued fresh guidelines to Regulated Entities (REs) such as commercial & other banks, NBFCs and other lenders to ensure reasonableness and transparency in disclosure of penal interest.
2. Axis Bank to provide loans via RBI’s Public Tech Platform for Frictionless Credit (PTPFC) platform.
Days after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced a Pilot for Public Tech Platform for Frictionless Credit (PTPFC), Axis Bank Ltd. has announced the introduction of two lending products–Kisan Credit Card (KCC) and unsecured MSME loans–to small business customers which will be processed through this platform.
3. The government will sell tomatoes at retail price of 40 rupees per kilogram from Sunday in different states and Union territories.
