1. The CBSE Class 10 results and CBSE 12th results are likely to be released by July 25, 2021. This year, due to the pandemic, the CBSE had to cancel both Class 10 and 12 board exams.

6. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban, PMAY-U has launched a Short Film Contest Khushiyon Ka Ashiyana for all the people above 18 Years of age, as part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav. The last date for the submission is 1st September and the results will be declared on 30th September this year.

8. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) said that State Bank of India (SBI) has recovered another ₹792.11 crore by the sale of shares belonging to fugitive businessmen Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi, & Mehul Choksi. The assets have been seized by the Central agency under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
9. Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on 17 Jul (Saturday) dismissed rumours about his resignation, saying it is not at all true. On Friday, Yediyurappa had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed pending state works, including Mekedatu project across river Cauvery.
10. Telangana mulls reopening of schools, colleges from Aug 16
The plan is to restart classes for Standard 8th & above in schools besides all colleges & universities. On the other hand, till now there is No clarity over reopening of film theatres in Telangana.
11. Andhra Pradesh govt announces 135 nominated posts of various corporations. Out of 135 nominated posts, 76 were allotted for SC, ST, BC, and Minorities while 59 for other castes.
12. Kerala Eases Lockdown Till 20 July Due to Bakrid. Negative RT-PCR tests were no longer mandatory for inter-state travel and attending exams for persons who have received two doses of Covid- vaccine.

15. Officials of the Delhi Police will meet a delegation of farmers on Sunday (18 Jul) ahead of their planned protest in front of parliament during its monsoon session to demand scrapping of the contentious farm laws and a legal guarantee on MSP.
The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body of over 40 farmer unions, has planned that around 200 farmers will hold protests outside parliament.
