1. A 35-year-old critically ill pregnant woman was airlifted by efforts of Indian Army and Air Force in snowbound Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir. The Air Force dispatched an Mi-17 helicopter to carry the woman, her husband and two female relatives.

2. India and France are holding the 21st edition of their bilateral naval exercise ‘Varuna’ in the Arabian Sea. The French Carrier Strike Group, comprising the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, is participating in the exercise.

3. Indian Army has awarded Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card to hoof number 122, a mountain artillery mule for exemplary service it rendered in the sensitive Tawang sector.
